3rd Annual Metal and E-waste Drive
To the Campus Community:
In observance of National Recycling Day on November 15, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
(PTK) and the Office for Sustainability will be accepting e-waste and metal waste donations through November 15 to recycle during the Third Annual Metal and E-waste Drive. Proceeds from the recycled items will be used to purchase and donate items to local
animal shelters to benefit animals in need.
Drop-off locations: Memorial Hall, room 102; Quintyne Hall, 1st floor; Orchard Hall, near the 1st floor mailboxes; Campus Center, outside of the bookstore
Suggested donations:
- Computer components (keyboards, towers, mouse)
- Miscellaneous wires of all kinds
- Cellphones, home phones, headphones, tablets, iPads, etc
- Small kitchen countertop items or small appliances (metal spatulas, serving spoons,
coffee machines, blenders, choppers, etc.)
- Silverware - No knives or sharp items
Delete all personal data from your devices prior to your donation.
Please consider a donation to assist PTK, the Office for Sustainability, and the campus
community in our efforts toward a cleaner environment, while helping animals in need.
