EV Charging Policy / Pricing

Dear Campus Community,

Please be advised that the fee structure for the solar carport electric vehicle (EV) chargers has been updated. Effective immediately, charging will be billed by the kilowatt-hour (kWh), rather than on an hourly basis.

In alignment with SUNY guidance, the updated rate reflects the actual cost of operating and maintaining the EV charging stations. Establishing a self-supported EV charging program is essential to ensuring the long-term sustainability and potential expansion of EV charging access on campus.
