Campus Wide Power Outage – Friday, May 23
To the Campus Community:
On Friday, May 23, between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., the College will be conducting critical maintenance in the main switchgear. This
work is essential to ensure the continued reliability and safety of our electrical
system.
Building generators will turn on during this time, and heating plant and trades staff
will be on standby should any issues arise.
We recommend that you take the following precautions to prevent data loss and equipment
issues:
- Ensure all work is saved prior to the shutdown.
- Back up important data.
- Shutdown your computer before leaving for the day on Thursday, May 22.
- Notify your supervisor if you anticipate any operational challenges.
Should you encounter any unexpected issues or have specific concerns, please contact
the Facilities Operations team at ext. 2017.
