To Faculty and Staff:
As a reminder, the 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, May 22, at 7 p.m. Faculty and staff who are attending commencement are invited to a pre-ceremony dinner
reception between 4:30 p.m and 6:30 p.m. at the Grant Thornton VIP Lounge (lower level).
Anyone processing should arrive with their regalia no later than 6 p.m.

Arrival & Parking:
Parking is free and available without a pass for everyone. If you arrive between 4:30
p.m. and 5:30 p.m., please park and enter through Gate 5. Anyone arriving after 5:30
p.m. will need to enter the coliseum at the main entrance, across from the Marriott.
Entrance Pass:
You will need a digital badge or volunteer lanyard to enter the coliseum and to access
the dinner reception.
- If you have RSVP’d to be a part of the processional, you will receive your digital
badge in your email from FSCevents@farmingdale.edu.
- If you have RSVP’d to volunteer at commencement, you will receive a message to pick
up a volunteer lanyard the week before commencement.
- If you have not yet RSVP’d, but plan to join us at commencement, please RSVP here and a digital badge will be sent one week prior to the event.
Please have your digital badge ready to show on your phone, or have your lanyard ready
as you arrive at the Coliseum and as you enter the Grant Thorton VIP Lounge. You must
show either of these to be admitted.
Bag Policy:
Nassau Coliseum strictly enforces a no-bag policy, with a few exceptions. While purses,
backpacks, and other large bags are prohibited, guests may bring small clutch-style
bags no larger than 4.5" x 6".
Regalia:
Faculty and staff will be notified when their regalia is available for pick up at
the Bookstore. Bookstore hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and
Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please return your regalia to the robing room at the conclusion of the ceremony. Regalia can also be returned to the Bookstore no later than June 20.
