SUNY Sexual Violence Prevention Survey
Sent on behalf of the Title IX Office
To the Campus Community:
Farmingdale State College, in collaboration with SUNY, is conducting the SUNY Sexual
Violence Prevention Survey as required by New York State law. This survey is administered
every two years to students, faculty, and staff to assess the prevalence of sexual
and interpersonal violence on campus and evaluate the effectiveness of our resources
and services.
SUNY System Administration is overseeing the survey, and invitations to participate
will be sent from a SUNY email address.
Your feedback is essential because it:
- Helps us understand the full scope of sexual and interpersonal violence issues on
campus.
- Identifies strengths and areas for improvement in communicating available resources
and services.
- Encourages collaboration between students, faculty, staff, and administration to enhance
prevention efforts.
Your voice matters. Please take a few moments to complete the survey when you receive
the invitation. Your participation contributes to a safer and more informed campus
community.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Title lX Coordinator Kathleen
Flynn at flynnbk@farmingdale.edu or 934-420-5772.
Thank you in advance for your time and commitment to this important initiative.
