Food Pantry Volunteers Needed
To Faculty & Staff:
The FSC Food Pantry is seeking faculty and staff volunteers for our pantry.
The primary role of volunteers is to help during our pick-up days. Volunteers direct
users to fill out a simple intake form, answer questions about items, and restock
from storage cabinets as shelves run low. Shifts are generally one hour. We are planning to be open every week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.
to 6 p.m.
This volunteer opportunity is weekly and repeating beginning Tuesday, August 29 and ending Wednesday, December 6. For example, if you
are selected for the Tuesday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. shift, you will be expected to show
up weekly at that time throughout the semester. Please check your calendar to ensure
you are broadly available. We do maintain a roster of back up volunteers for emergencies.
Please complete this form & indicate which shifts you are available. Historically, we struggle to fill 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesdays, and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays, so any availability during those times is greatly appreciated!
New volunteers will be notified by email, and then asked to confirm their availability.
If your volunteer services are not needed at this time, we will ask if you'd like
to be added to our roster of backups or be considered for next semester.
