Delete Before You Eat
Today is the second Delete-Before-You-Eat-Wednesday of April!
This is your friendly reminder to take time before lunch to delete unneeded emails.
The person who deletes the highest amount of emails in April will win One Complimentary Ticket to the 2023 President's Gala and the person with the largest reduction of their overall mailbox size will win Two Complimentary Cocktail Party on the Green Tickets at the 2023 FSC Golf Classic as part of FSC’s Biggest Loser Email Competition.
Deleting emails will decrease the amount of storage being used by the College, limit
the amount of information that can be breached, and reduce the amount of resources
necessary to respond to FOIL and legal requirements.
As a reminder, the College Email Policy will go into effect on June 1, 2023. This policy indicates that all deleted email
will be automatically purged from the Outlook “Deleted Items” folder after 30 days.
These messages will be retained on FSC’s email server for an additional 30 days before
being permanently removed from the system. For tools and resources for effective email
