The following are events designed specifically for RAM Scholars and are often times open to all students.

5/20 Mon Fulbright Information Session RAM Scholars with a minimum GPA of 3.2 and a minimum of 78 credits earned by end of Spring 2019 were invited, through letter invitations, to join one of two Fulbright Information Sessions. 1/22 Tues Dog Bake Sale for Territorio de Zaguates As the Pre-Health Professions Club implies, we include pre-veterinary students as well as numerous dog lovers. Our treasurer makes her Labrador retriever home made treats, so we decided to make some to benefit the dogs at Territorio de Zaguates. Come by and purchase some dog-related treats for your furry friends to benefit a good cause! 100% of the proceeds from sales will go towards helping these homeless dogs in Costa Rica. 1/22- 1/23 Tues- Weds Flu Shots It's not too late to get a flu shot, to ensure you don't suffer chills, fever, and aches and pains this winter. Rite Aid pharmacy will be in the Campus Center Lobby this week, providing free vaccinations to faculty, staff, and students who present both a Farmingdale ID and health-insurance card. Wolf Presentation  Campus Mental Health Services will host a lecture and discussion by Carolyn Reinach Wolf on "Student Mental Health Issues on Campus: Best Practices, Scope of Practice, Liability Control and Risk Management." Ms. Wolf's talk is open to the campus and may be of particular interest to the Administrative Council, Student Affairs, Health Services staff as well as advisement and opportunity-program professionals. 2/11 Mon 100 Days to the Centennial Commencement Kickoff Celebration Thanks to the Centennial Commencement Working Group which has planned several weeks of events leading up to our 100th graduation ceremony in May. FSC's Centennial Commencement is this spring, but the celebrating begins Monday, 2/11, with a kick-off event. SURC is a multidisciplinary spring semester event hosted each year by different SUNY institutions. It brings together undergraduate student researchers and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system for activities, including sessions devoted to student presentations—oral, performance, artistic displays, and posters presentations—in ALL academic disciplines.
