Smithtown Resident Wins Excellence in Adjunct Teaching Award from SUNY

The best way to describe Professor Kim Wild is through the eyes of one of her students: "Professor Wild is an extremely passionate, dedicated, and simultaneously good-natured, yet no-nonsense, professor who infuses her courses with content that is both engaging and challenging. However, what is most impressive, and valuable, about Professor Wild's teaching is her knowledge of graphic design."

In addition to her excellence in the classroom, Professor Wild, a freelance graphic designer, displays her work across Long Island. She also works as main coordinator of the department's Senior Project Expo. Professor Wild earned degrees in Visual Communications and Advertising Art and Design at Farmingdale.

The Chancellor's Award is conferred to acknowledge and provide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence. Through these awards, SUNY publicly proclaims its pride in the accomplishment and personal dedication of its instructional faculty, librarians and professional staff across its campuses.
