College-bound students and their families will want to save the date – Saturday, April 16 – for Spring Open House at Farmingdale State College. The event begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m.
The Campus Center is the starting place, and will be the focal point for many offices including financial aid, admissions, athletics, residential life and student activities.
Students and their families have choices as to what to do first. They can go on a tour, head over to a classroom building to talk to professors, start a conversation with the athletics staff in the Campus Center or attend an information session in Gleeson Hall.
Special information sessions will be offered in Gleeson Hall at:
- Nursing - 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- Admissions - 11 a.m.
- Financial Aid - noon
Deans, professors and current students from Farmingdale’s four schools – Business, Engineering Technology, Health Sciences, and Arts & Sciences – will be in their classroom buildings to discuss the college’s 38 bachelor and associate degree programs.
In addition, there will be tours of the residence halls; Memorial Art Gallery; science and computer labs, and the Teaching Gardens. Buses will leave from the front of the Campus Center to the campus athletic complex and fitness center and to the aviation flight center.
