Golf Tournament to be Held at Cold Spring Country Club

The 2010 Tech Island Golf Classic to benefit the Farmingdale College Foundation will be held at Cold Spring Country Club in Cold Spring Harbor, New York, on Monday, June 28, 2010. The event will be presented in conjunction with Winthrop University Hospital and Forest Laboratories. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

John F. Collins, president and CEO of Mineola-based Winthrop University Hospital, will be honored. Winthrop-University Hospital is a 591-bed university-affiliated medical center with a state-of-the-art environment that is rich in medical education and research programs. Collins is active in several professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Professionals, the New York State Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Finance Committees for Healthcare Association of New York State and the Greater New York Hospital Association, is a past president of the Healthcare Financial Management Association Metropolitan New York Chapter and past chairman of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council Committee on Finance. On several occasions, he has been honored with awards from the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
