Farmingdale State College President Dr. W. Hubert Keen is pleased to announce that Governor David Patterson has appointed Robert Stricoff to the Farmingdale College Council.

Robert Stricoff is Chief Executive Officer of the Town of Babylon 's Industrial Development Agency. Since 2003, his responsibilities have included enhancing the town's economic development through developing a marketing and public relations campaign to attract new businesses and jobs and managing a budget of $700,000. Part of the Town of Babylon government since 1997, Stricoff has assumed increasingly responsible positions.

From 1993-1996, Stricoff served as a Supply Sergeant in the U.S. Army.

Stricoff earned a BA in Political Science and Communications from Queens College and a MS in Business Administration at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant , Michigan .

Mr. Stricoff lives in Oak Beach with his wife Abigail and toddler son Benjamin.
