2008 Spring Career Fair
Over 75 companies will be present to collect resumes
Farmingdale State College is delighted to invite the community to the 2008 Career Fair on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Roosevelt Hall's Multi-Purpose Room. This event is sponsored by the Career Development Center.
The 2008 Career Fair will host over 75 companies including: New York City Department of Corrections, Cablevision, Developmental Disabilities Institute, Customs & Border Protection, Fortunoff, Armani Exchange, Sleepy's, Underwriters Labs and The Long Island Association for AIDS Care, Inc (LIACC).
Representatives from these and other companies with immediate job openings will be on hand to collect resumes and speak to applicants. The Career Development Center recommends that all participants bring several copies of their resume and dress professionally.
The Job Fair allows students and employers to become acquainted in an informal environment. Job Fairs are an invaluable opportunity for anyone to fine-tune interviewing skills, create employment opportunities, and build networking relationships while looking for summer work, part-time work, internships and full-time employment. Each year students report receiving job offers from participating companies.
