2007 Fall Job Fair at Farmingdale State College
Farmingdale State College is delighted to invite the community to the 2007 Job Fair on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM in Roosevelt Hall's Multi-Purpose Room. This event is sponsored by the Career Development Center .
The 2007 Job Fair will host over 100 companies including: New York City Department of Corrections, Cablevision, Developmental Disabilities Institute, Customs & Border Protection, Fortunoff, Armani Exchange, Bloomingdales, Sleepy's, Underwriters Labs, Viotech Solutions and The Long Island Association for AIDS Care, Inc (LIACC) . Representatives from these and other companies with immediate job openings will be on hand to collect resumes and speak to applicants. The Career Development Center recommends that all participants bring several copies of their resume and dress professionally.
The Job Fair allows students and employers to become acquainted in an informal environment. Job Fairs are an invaluable opportunity for anyone to fine-tune interviewing skills, create employment opportunities, and build networking relationships while looking for summer work, part-time work, internships and full-time employment. Each year students report receiving job offers from participating companies.
