Wayne Grossé Named to Farmingdale State College Foundation
Farmingdale State University of New York President Dr. Jonathan Gibralter is pleased to announce that Executive Vice President of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Wayne Grossé, a Bayport resident, has been elected to the Farmingdale State College Foundation. The College Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that provides financial assistance in advancing the purposes and development of the College through fundraising. The Foundation provides scholarships, faculty development grants and funds for programs and projects that are not funded by the State budget.
Mr. Grossé started his career over 25 years ago with the Pan Am Federal Credit Union. In 1999, Mr. Grosse joined Bethpage Federal Credit Union he is the Executive Vice President in charge of operations. He was instrumental in the charter conversion to a community credit union in September 2003, when Bethpage was approved to serve nearly all residents who live, work or go to school in Nassau County and 98% of Suffolk County. He was a board member for the NYCE ATM Network for two years.
Mr. Grossé has been an active member of the community. He has held a position on the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and has been a committee member of the Long Island Children's Museum. He has been assistant or head coach of the Bayport/Blue Point Little League for several years.
Mr. Grossé attended Oswego State University of New York, where he received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and went on to receive a Masters Degree in Business from Dowling College.
