Thomas Bogue Named to Farmingdale State College Foundation
Farmingdale State University of New York President Dr. Jonathan Gibralter is pleased to announce that senior vice president of Signature Bank, Thomas Wm. Bogue of Rockville Center,has been elected to the Farmingdale State College Foundation. The College Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that provides financial assistance in advancing the purposes and development of the College through fundraising. The Foundation provides scholarships, faculty development grants and funds for programs and projects that are not funded by the State budget.
Mr. Bogue started his career 25 years ago as Foreign Exchange Operations Manager at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. He spent many years at Citibank, N.A. as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending or Vice President of Business Development Middle Market, where he was responsible for thenew businessinitiativein Nassau County for the Middle Markets Group of Citibank North America. In 2005, Mr. Bogue joined Signature Bank, a private banking group in Garden City, as Senior Vice President and group director.
In addition to Mr. Bogue's career in finance, for the past twenty-five years he has been an emergency medical technician and worked for North Shore University Hospital, providing emergency medical services to the Bayside/Flushing communities, since 1999. He is a certified by theInternational Association of Firefighters as a hazardous material technician for the New York Fire Department. He developed and teaches IAFF Hazardous Material training programs to EMTs and Paramedics.
Mr. Bogue earned his Bachelor of Science in management science with a minor in accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York
