Farmingdale State Holds 4th Annual Health and Wellness Fair
The Farmingdale State University of New York's 4th AnnualHealth and Wellness Fair will be held on Thursday, April 20 in Roosevelt Hall multi-purpose room between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
This year's fair is expected to be even more successful than last, which featured more than 90 vendors and health care professionals from Long Island and the greater New York area. Many of last year's participants and new ones will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about available health and wellness services. Vendors will offer health screenings, including blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol testing. Chair massages, chiropractic consults, dental care, and many other services will also be available.
A special presentation of "The Indigo Evolution", a documentary by James Twyman, demonstrating the heightened awareness of autistic children will be shown in Roosevelt Hall, room 111 at 11:00 a.m. In addition, the fair will feature, Healthy food, vendor samples and raffle prizes.
