RE: PIPER ARROW III INFORMATION MANUAL REVISIONS

The list of revisions (REVISION 25-28) that have taken place in the Piper PA-28R-201 Arrow III Pilot’s Information Manual or Pilot’s Operating Manual are listed below. In addition, the revised pages are also included in this FIF.

NOTE: Only the AFFECTED pages are included in this FIF to supplement the current PIM/POH. Do not use these pages as a replacement.

REVISION 25: SECTION 4 AND 7

  • Page 4-10, Section 4.5g (BEFORE START CHECKLIST) – Added a line item, “EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION LEVER…UP POSITION”
  • Page 4-12, Section 4.5k (APPROACH AND LANDING CHECKLIST) – Added a line item, “EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION LEVER…. UP POSITION”
  • Page 4-22, Section 4.21, Fourth Paragraph – Revised “Exercise and set the flaps and trim. Ensure proper movement and response of all night controls,” to “EXERCISE AND SET THE FLAPS AND TRIM. THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION LEVER SHOULD BE IN THE UP POSITION TO PERMIT NORMAL GEAR OPERATION. IF THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION LEVER IS NOT IN THE FULLY UP POSITION PRIOR TO GEAR RETRACTION, THE LANDING GEAR MAY NOT RETRACT WHEN THE LANDING GEAR SWITCHED IS SELECTED UP.
