How to Register Macs, iOS and Android devices on FSC_Secure:

1) Follow the steps in the FSC_Secure handout.

How to Register Laptops and Chromebooks:

1) Go to https://www.farmingdale.edu/wifi
2) In the box marked 'Network Login', login with your Farmingdale Username/Password and hit
'Login'
3) Review Farmingdale's 'Acceptable Use Policy' and click in the box to agree to the Policy
4) Click 'Complete Registration'
5) Restart your device and it will now be registered on the Farmingdale State College WiFi
6) If after following these instructions, you are unable to register your device, please attempt to register your laptop using the steps for Gaming and Smart Devices

How to Register Gaming Devices, Smart Devices or similar-WiFi capable devices:

1) Go to https://www.farmingdale.edu/wifi
2) Click the link for Self Registration
3) Login with your Farmingdale Username/Password and hit 'Login'
4) On the new page click 'Add'
5) You'll be taken to another page where you'll need to enter your device's MAC Address. Enter the address with a colon (:) separating every two characters in the address.
6) After you enter your device's MAC Address and Description hit 'Submit'
7) It may take a second but the registration page will load showing your device has been added
8) Power off the device you're trying to register for a FULL 5 MINUTES
9) After 5 full minutes, restart the device and it should connect

FSC_Secure - Is for any devices that can authenticate via WPA2-Enterprise. This would be iOS, Android, Macs, Windows and other devices. It is more secure as it individually encrypts each session.

* You will have to re-register your device every 120 days and when you change your password.

FSC_Wifi - Is open encryption. It is all encompassing for those that cannot or do not want to connect to FSC_Secure. This would mainly be gaming devices.

* You will have to re-register your device when you change your password.
