On-Campus Saliva COVID Testing:
All students with an on-campus presence who are not fully vaccinated are required to be tested weekly for possible COVID infection. The Health and Wellness Center is offering free testing every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM through 3 PM, from 10 AM to 7:30 PM on Wednesdays, and from 6:30 AM though 3 PM on Fridays in the Multipurpose Room in Roosevelt Hall. Please monitor your FSC email for a weekly reminder along with a link to register for the test the night before you plan on being tested.
If you cannot make it to the on-campus pooled testing, you are required to obtain a test and submit the results to the HWC through the COVID 19 test results link.
If you are unable to schedule your own test off-campus, you can contact Enzo Clinical Laboratory. Testing will be conducted at 10 Executive Boulevard in Farmingdale. Test results take approximately 48-72 hours.
Prior to arriving at Enzo Clinical Laboratory for a test, you must complete the following:
- Preregister your demographic data and insurance information by accessing the following QR code on your mobile device
- After completing the registration process, call the Health and Wellness Center at 934-420-2009 in order for our staff to send a prescription for your test to the laboratory along with emailing you a copy to bring to the lab on the day of your test
- Next, you will need to call Enzo Clinical Labs in order to schedule an appointment. They can be reached at 800-550-3033
- You will need to bring your driver’s license along with your insurance card to Enzo Clinical labs at the time of your test.
Once results are finalized, the Health and Wellness Center will contact you in order to provide you with your result.
Health and Wellness center is offering in person medical visits. No walk-in appointments will be allowed. You must call in advance to schedule an appointment.
We will be screening all visitors for symptoms of COVID-19 and requiring all staff and patients to wear masks. Currently, no one is allowed to accompany patients to their appointments. These policies are in place to minimize the risk of COVID-19 spread to you, your family, other patients, and our staff.
When scheduling an in-person appointment, you'll be required to fill out the student self-screening tool prior to coming to campus (or leaving your residence hall room). This daily screening tool can be used or it can be found on a banner after signing into myFSC. We will ask the same questions when you arrive for your appointment, and we will also take the temperature of every patient and visitor who arrives at Health and Wellness using "no-touch" thermometers.
Upon arriving at Health and Wellness for your appointment, please call and let us know that you are on campus for your appointment. We are limiting the number of people in our waiting room, so you will be asked to wait outside or in your car until the staff at Health and Wellness is ready to see you.
Our doctor and nurse practitioner will also offer video visits. If you have questions, Health and Wellness can help you determine whether the appointment you need can be a video visit rather than in person.Health and Wellness will be offering screening for COVID-19 and antibody testing for both employees and students through Enzo Labs to help keep our campus community safe.
