BiographyDr. Richard Caputo received a bachelor's in both English and Political Science from
Stony Brook University in 2000. Recently, Richard earned his doctorate in English,
also from Stony Brook. Currently, Richard is teaching at both Farmingdale and Stony
Brook while busily working on a collection of short stories. As of now, Richard's
scholarship primarily deals with the literature of ancient Greece and Rome, and he
is currently researching Eastern influences on the extant fragments of the cyclic
epics. Additionally, Richard is working to bring academic attention to the works of
Clive Barker, and has presented papers at Barker conferences both here and abroad.
