World Language Round Table

Join colleagues from across Long Island for a focused exchange of practical ideas, teaching strategies, and shared experiences in online language pedagogy, language learning in the AI age, and world language instruction. Everyone is welcome to attend in-person or virtually. 

TENTATIVE PROGRAM:

2:30 pm. Welcome & Opening Remarks. Brief introductions from the hosts.

2:35 pm. Faculty Lightning Talks. 5-6 presenters • 7-8 minutes each.

3:20 pm. Q&A. Questions and responses to the presentations.

3:30 pm. Participant Idea Exchange. Small-group discussion on pre-selected topics.

3:45 pm. Report Back & Takeaways. Each table shares key ideas and recommendations.
