PaintCare: Paint Recycling Event
The time for fall cleaning is right around the corner! Do you have any unwanted paint cans sitting in your garage or basement? Stop by Farmingdale State College on October 24th and properly recycle that paint! PaintCare is a non-profit that partners with NYS DEC to ensure that paint and paint cans are recycled in an environmentally responsible way.
FSC will be the drop off point where people - community members and FSC students/employees alike - can get their paint recycled properly. The drop off site will be in the parking lot in front of Lupton Hall (student lot 5B).
*The Office for Sustainability will be collecting paint from faculty, staff, and students from Monday 10/19/2026 to Friday 10/23/2026. Please drop off any cans to the Service Building or email the campus Sustainability Manager.
This is a free paint recycling drop-off event for households and businesses.
