   <description>Student Poster Session InstructionsAll students registered for the SUNY Sustainability
      Conference who are presenting research must follow the guidelines below. The Student
      Poster Session will take place on June 9, 2026, from 3:00-4:00pm; below is your checklist
      to prepare for this event.
      Note: Conference registration is required.See more information, including the registration
      link, on the conference website. 
      Your poster must:
      
      Include your name, school, and poster title
      Be dimensions of 36” by 24” (landscape)
      Connect to one or more sustainability concepts
      Cite references when necessary
      Include at least one picture, graphic, and/or chart. 
      
      For your convenience, an optional 36” x 24” template can be found here.
      How to submit your poster:
      
      Ensure your poster was created with 36” by 24” landscape dimensions.
      Download your poster as a pdf, png, or jpg file.
      Email your poster along with your name, school, poster title, and a one-sentence summary
      of your topic and how it relates to sustainability to sustainability@suny.edu by May
      27, 2026.
      Posters will be printed and ready for you the day of the poster session.
      
      Day of the poster session:
      
      Business casual attire is required. 
      Conference check in begins at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 9. outside the Campus Center
      Ballroom. 
      The showcase is Tuesday, June 9 from 3:00-3:50pm in the Campus Center Ballroom.
      Make sure to take advantage of the conference offerings, attend sessions, and network!
      By 2:30pm, report to the Campus Center Ballroom to set up your poster. Find your name
      on the wall and display your poster with the materials provided. 
      The poster session will begin at 3:00pm. Conference attendees will be invited to view
      and ask questions about your poster. Be prepared to present your poster and answer
      questions about your topic. 
      Breakdown will be at the end of the conference. You are expected to take your poster
      with you when you leave the conference. Any posters left over will be discarded.
