Farmingdale Roots: Voices of Belonging in Motion

Dr. Suzelle Zamor, director of the Liberty Partnerships Program, recently developed Farmingdale Roots: Voices of Belonging in Motion, welcoming students, staff, and faculty to participate in a multimedia storytelling initiative.

FSC's diverse campus community is a vital part of the fabric of Farmingdale State College and invited to share their unique perspectives and experiences. Dr. Zamor's "Farmingdale Roots: Voices of Belonging in Motion," is a grant-funded multimedia storytelling initiative dedicated to celebrating the diverse narratives of migration, heritage, and identity within our campus community.

The goal is to create a tapestry of voices that will be woven into a short film, premiered at a campus-wide screening event this spring. This first of it's kind screening will be preserved in a permanent digital archive for educational purposes. Your story can help foster a deeper understanding of belonging and strengthen our campus community. "I would be honored if you would consider participating in a brief video interview." -- Suzelle Zamor.
