This semester we will be reading Ken Bain's What the Best College Teachers Do. Based on the 15 year study of 100 college faculty across all types of institutions this book aims to showcase the qualities that engage and challenge students. Together we will read and talk about the two most important qualities in these faculty: That teaching matters and that students can learn.
