Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) - Water Pollution & Conservation

The Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) is an educational series hosted by Farmingdale State College (FSC) in partnership with Suffolk Community College (SCCC). The series is focused on pollution prevention (P2) and how Long Island residents can reduce their environmental impact. It is a mixture of lecture-style presentations by local experts and activity-based events, such as beach clean-ups and DIY green cleaning products.


The tenth event of the series will focus on Water Pollution & Conservation and will feature a presentation from experts at D&B Engineers and Architects. These experts will be discuss water issues relevant to Long Island and how we can collectively reduce our pollution and unnecessary water usage.
