Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) - Renewable Energy

The Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) is an educational series hosted by Farmingdale State College (FSC) in partnership with Suffolk Community College (SCCC). The series is focused on pollution prevention (P2) and how Long Island residents can reduce their environmental impact. It is a mixture of lecture-style presentations by local experts and activity-based events, such as beach clean-ups and DIY green cleaning products.

The second event of the series will focus on Renewable Energy (Wind & Solar) and will feature a presentation from Marjaneh Issapour, Engineering Professor at Farmingdale State College.
