Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) - Sustainable Architecture and Design

The Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) is an educational series hosted by Farmingdale State College (FSC) in partnership with Suffolk Community College (SCCC). The series is focused on pollution prevention (P2) and how Long Island residents can reduce their environmental impact. It is a mixture of lecture-style presentations by local experts and activity-based events, such as beach clean-ups and DIY green cleaning products.


The third event of the series will focus on Sustainable Architecture and Design and will feature a presentation from Juhee Lee-Hartford, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, CPHC, who is the Founding & Managing Principal as well as CEO at River Architects in Cold Spring, NY.
