Title IX 50th Anniversary Commemoration

Farmingdale State College is proud to present a ceremony and reception commemorating the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX.

Celebrate with us as we acknowledge the importance of this landmark law in driving change, highlight the progress made over 50 years, and look to the future of gender equity in education and beyond.

If you or someone you know has or is currently experiencing a form of gender discrimination, there are both confidential and non-confidential resources available to you on and off campus.  

You can contact the Title IX Coordinator to make a private report; you can also contact University Police.

If you would like to speak to a counselor, you can contact Campus Mental Health Services for a confidential appointment.

Many organizations are available on Long Island and in NYC which serve survivors; go to SUNYSAVR to find one near you.
