Day Of Silence

In honor of the LGBTQ+ community, the Day of Silence is a Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) sponsored national day to honor the LGBTQ+ community.  Foremost, this is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ+ students and allies are encouraged to take a day-long vow of silence to symbolically represent the silencing of LGBTQ+ students.

This year, the Day of Silence is recognized on Friday, April 22, 2022. Farmingdale Pride Club would like FSC to join the hundreds of other schools and universities that participate.
