Disability Services Center

The (DSC) is dedicated to the principle that equal opportunity be afforded each student to realize their fullest potential.  The goal is to assist students with disabilities to function as independently as possible, and to ensure a comprehensively accessible college experience where individuals with disabilities have the same access to programs, opportunities and activities as all other students at the college.  Interested students are encouraged to contact the DSC, at dsc@farmingdale.edu


Office of Veterans Services

The office of Veterans Services provides support for student veterans and reservists with reintegrating into the FSC campus community along with navigating the admissions, registration, and financial aid process.  We encourage all veteran and reservist applicants interested in attending Farmingdale State College, to reach out to this office, as your primary point of contact, located in Quintyne Hall rooms 009 & 010.  Please contact Veterans Services with questions or assistance at veterans@farmingdale.edu.

The Veterans Business Program

The Veterans Business Program, initiated by the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Veterans Business Development, is a program designed to enable men and women who have served in the Armed Forces to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by owning and operating their own business. Together with the comprehensive services offered by the Small Business Development Center, the Veterans Business Program also offers mentorship and networking services intended for veteran business owners.  Visit the NYSBDC for more information about the program and its services.  


Academic Support & Access Programs

The Department of Academic Support & Access Programs serves over 1,600 secondary school and Farmingdale State College students annually through ten grant-funded and state-operated programs. Dedicated to the support and advancement of underrepresented students, we provide comprehensive services designed to meet student needs and support the College’s mission. At the core of our programs is the premise that all students have infinite potential to succeed. It is our responsibility, and our honor, to guide them through obstacles to meet their goals. Long Island Educational Opportunity Center

The Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC) has been helping students achieve their educational and vocational goals for over 50 years.  Through its collaboration with higher education, business, industry, and its communities, the Long Island EOC has developed a skilled workforce that remains competitive and vibrant in a global economy.  A variety of programs are offered at both Long Island locations that include the following:  Allied Health Education, College Preparation, High School Equivalency (HSE), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and creative design opportunities through the Entrepreneur Technology Center's Visual Technology Program.  In addition, the LIEOC offers over 32 occupational, academic, and self-development courses at the ATTAIN lab located in Brentwood.  For more program information, please click here.
