The FSC Office for Sustainability is happy to be hosting the following events around campus in celebration of Earth
Day on April 22. All events are open to staff, students, and faculty. You can find
more details about each event (including location) by following the link for each
day.
2023 Earth Week Events:
Monday 4/17
- Solar Carport Tour 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Tree Planting Event 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Presentation: "How to Recycle 101" 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday 4/18
- Office for Sustainability Earth Day Celebration 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.*
- Earth Yoga 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday 4/19
- Outdoor AMPFit Bootcamp Classes (three sessions) noon - 3 p.m.
- Horticulture Garden Tour 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Documentary showing: "Cowspiracy" 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday 4/20
- Smart Energy House Tour 11 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Clean Up Hike 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Documentary showing: "Minimalism" 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday 4/21
- Invasive Species Removal at West Brook 9 a.m.- noon
Saturday 4/22 Happy Earth Day!
- PaintCare Recycling Event 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Celebrate Earth Month by participating in these events or pledging to participate in one or more environmentally conscious activities outside of FSC.

*Clothing donation bins have been placed in Greenley Library, Campus Center, and Orchard
Hall. These donations will be used at the Earth Day Celebration Clothing Swap.
