Visit the Barnes & Noble Bookstore to purchase a cap and gown between April 1, 2019 and May 13, 2019 (the last day of finals). Try on your attire to ensure it fits and make sure your bag includes the robe, hood, cap, and tassel. If you are unable to make it into the bookstore, please call them at 631-249-3048. Students must wear caps and gowns to participate in the graduation ceremony. Barnes & Noble will use its Facebook page at to announce the arrival of the caps and gowns.

Get your Commencement Tickets. Ticket distribution is set to begin in April at the Commencement Fair (April 24-25, 2019). Eligible graduates will be entitled to four (4) guest tickets. Due to the size of the graduating class, no extra tickets will be available for the 2019 Spring Commencement ceremony.

Check the Commencement website for additional Centennial Events.

Dress accordingly. You will be walking up the platform stairs to shake the President's hand and receive your diploma cover at the Commencement ceremony. High heels are not recommended. To maintain the dignity of the ceremony, we ask all students to dress appropriately.

It is very important that when you purchase your cap and gown, you open the package and check to see that you have everything that you are supposed to have: cap, gown, black tassel (Latin Honors students will receive a gold tassel during check-in at graduation), hood (Bachelor degree) or bib (Associate degree). Also, you should try on the cap and gown to make sure it fits. This will help avoid problems on the day of commencement.

Read the President's Message to Graduates.

Remind those who cannot attend that the event will be live-streamed on the College homepage. The link will be accessible the evening of Commencement.

Schedule a Senior Portrait appointment. Available dates/times: April 23, 2019 in Roosevelt 111 from 9am-5pm or during the Senior Commencement Fair (April 24-25, 2019).

You MUST attend the 5:00pm pre-ceremony lineup and instructions.
