Jack Petrich graduated from Farmingdale State College with an AAS degree in Building Construction in 1969. He continued his education at Texas A&M University and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Judi Cestaro took her first course at Farmingdale State College in spring 1979. A Farmingdale High School drop out with a GED, she attended as a non-matriculated student. She didn't return to FSC until the fall of 1988, after marriage and family. She continued as a non-matric student until the chair of Liberal Arts, Paul Lovizio, told her that she needed to apply because she was going to be Valedictorian. Judi was the 1992 Valedictorian and won her first Alumni Award for Outstanding Student.
Dr. Laura Joseph, distinguished scholar, teacher and leader, is Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Joseph is a 1984 graduate of FSC, and has long-standing tenure at Farmingdale State College.
Dr. Robert Ench is a 1960 graduate of the Department of Ornamental Horticulture, who has become a nationally recognized leader in the horticulture industry.
First FSC baseball player drafted by Major League team, Matt Seelinger has been playing almost since birth.
