The Career Center is excited to announce the launch of FSC CareerConnect!  With CareerConnect, you will be able to:

  • Schedule an appointment with a career counselor 
  • Search for part-time and full-time job opportunities  
  • Find paid and unpaid internships  
  • Upload your resume, cover letter and other documents for employers to view
  • Explore career options with Career Explorer and Career Finder resources

We appreciate your interest in hiring our Farmingdale students and graduates. To post your jobs and internships online with us, please sign up for a new account on our CareerConnect platform. Click HERE to register. 

With CareerConnect, you will be able to:

  • Access our virtual resume book to view resumes from students and graduates
  • Receive email notifications when resumes have been submitted to your posting
  • Generate resume packets to print out or share submitted resumes
  • Set your own expiration date for job postings and close your posting when it has been filled

Visit the Graduate School Fair on Thursday, September 21st from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom to meet with recruiters from 33+ universities and graduate school programs to learn about post-graduate study options. This is an excellent opportunity to explore, compare, and contrast different programs and see what is needed to be competitive when it comes time to apply. It is a great way to start conversations with people who can be influential in helping with the selection, application, and acceptance process.

   Fall Job Fair Coming in November 2017!

EMPLOYERS: The Career Center will sponsor a Fall Job Fair on Thursday, November 16th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Roosevelt Hall. We invite your participation and ask that you reserve an exhibit table for this event which is open to Farmingdale students, alums and job seekers from the general public.


   Early-Bird $120 (received by October 16th)
   Regular $140 (received between October 17th and November 7th deadline)

JOB SEEKERS: Job seekers are not required to register for the Fair. Remember to dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume. The Career Center will offer job fair preparation workshops to students on November 2nd and November 14th. For more details, log onto your CareerConnect account and go to the "Events" tab. Fictitious "Work-from-Home" Scam Targets University Students

College students across the United States have been targeted to participate in work-from-home scams. Although the Career Center does not post work-from-home positions on CareerConnect, there are some fraudulent companies that post positions under the guise of a reputable company.
