Problem Solving Competition
Problem solving competition is a component of the US National Collegiate Mathematics Championship. This championship was designed by the Mathematical Association of America to support problem-solving activity on colleges and universities.
Problem Solving Competition Rules:
New problems are presented twice a month on Tuesdays.
If you solve ONE problem CORRECTLY, you will be declared a WINNER, and presented with a CERTIFICATE.
All winners will be recognized at the annual Mathematics Student Presentations.
The overall winner will qualify to attend the summer US National Collegiate Mathematics Championship.
To submit your solution place it in the yellow envelope marked “For solutions” on display near the Mathematics Department Office, Whitman 180. Don’t forget to write your name and major.
