Project Management Certification Program
The Farmingdale State College/Project Management Institute (PMI) provides a comprehensive review program to prepare you for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Project Management Certification Exam. Our workshop satisfies the 35 contact hours required to qualify to take the PMP exam. It covers the nine major project management subject areas: Quality, Scope, Time, Cost, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Procurement, and Integration Management.

The next PMP workshop will be Tuesday January 24th through Thursday January 26th 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (three 7 hour sessions). Online instruction 15 hours (completed after the classroom instruction).
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with at least 7,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks in the last 5 years;
- Bachelor's degree with at least 4,500 hours experience leading and directing project tasks within the last 3 years
If you work in Construction, IT, Engineering, Architecture, Electrical or Plumbing Contractor, Facilities Management, Health Care Administration, Federal or State Contracting, Human Resources, or Environmentalism, you can distinguish yourself with this credential.
