How to Apply

Steps for applying to a Farmingdale State College study abroad program:

Step 1: Start your study abroad application here.

Step 2: Attend a Study Abroad Advisement Session to learn more about the different programs and to have any of of your questions answered.

Step 3: Submit all application materials by your program deadline.

  • Application deadlines vary by program and are subject to extension; please check the Study Abroad homepage and or your program specific page for the must up to date application deadline date.

Once registered:

  • If you are a FSC student going on a FSC program, all tuition and fees must be paid before departure to the Student Accounts office
  • If using financial aid please refer to the study abroad financial aid tab
  • If you are another SUNY student going on a FSC program: registration, course pre-approval and tuition must be paid to your home SUNY campus.
    • All additional program fees must be paid to FSC prior to departure

 

Steps for FSC students applying to another SUNY study abroad program:

Step 1: Start your study abroad application here.

Step 2: Apply directly to your host SUNY school's study abroad program.

Step 3: Attend a Study Abroad Advisement Session to learn more about the different programs and to have any of of your questions answered.

Step 4: Submit all application materials by your program deadline.

Once Registered:

  • If you are a FSC student going on another SUNY program, your tuition will be paid here at FSC - all additional fees must be paid before departure to the Student Accounts office at FSC either in person or on your OASIS account
    • All other associated program fees are to be paid to the host SUNY school
  • If you are using financial aid, please refer to the study abroad financial aid tab
