The just-released 2017-2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges survey ranks Farmingdale State College as one of the best regional colleges in the north. Among all public colleges in the north region, Farmingdale placed 7th - two spots higher than it placed in last year's rankings.

8/31/2017 Century-old Conklin Hall Gets New Lease on Life at Farmingdale State College
It has housed nothing but memories on the Farmingdale State College campus for years, but now a 100-year-old building with a $12 million makeover will spring back to life on Tuesday, September 5. That's the day Conklin Hall - the College's original heating plant - returns to full-time use, this time as the new home of student government, student clubs, the campus radio station and more. The dedication is scheduled for 11:15 a.m.

The Gene Haas Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Farmingdale College Foundation for scholarships for students in the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program at Farmingdale State College.
