Ram-bo is Ready for SUNY Mascot Madness

SUNY Mascot Madness will adhere to the following schedule and rules of play:

Competition Schedule:

Round 1:                              Monday, March 4 12:00 p.m. – Sunday, March 10 11:00 p.m.

Round 2:                              Tuesday, March 12 12:00 p.m. – Sunday, March 17 11:00 p.m.

Round 3 - Quarterfinal:         Tuesday, March 19 12:00 p.m. – Friday, March 22 12:00 p.m.

Round 4 - Semifinal:             Monday, March 25 12:00 p.m. – Thursday, March 28 12:00 p.m.

Round 5 - Final:                    Friday, March 29 12:00 p.m. – Thursday, April 4 12:00 p.m.

Rules of Play:

• A standard single-elimination bracket of four divisions with five rounds will be used for competition.          
• Seed rankings are based on the number of teams that a particular campus represents and then enrollment data was used to break any ties.  Cortland and Brockport, our number one and two seeds, received a "bye" for the first round.        
• SUNY social media followers (Facebook, Twitter) may vote once per round, per matchup on the SUNY Mascot Madness website, which is hosted by the Generation SUNY Blog       
• In the event of a tie, we will track the additional social media followers gained by final schools over the life of Mascot Madness.
• The winning school will receive a prize from our office to commemorate their victory!
