Dr. Mary Villani Is Promoted At Farmingdale State
Advances to Associate Professor in the College's School of Business
Dr. Mary Villani has been promoted from assistant professor to associate professor
of computer programming and information systems at Farmingdale State College's School
of Business. She joined the faculty in 2000 as an assistant professor.
Dr. Villani earned her PhD through the Doctor of Professional Studies program at the Ivan G. Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University. She holds an MBA in management information systems from the Lubin Graduate School of Business at Pace University, and a BS from Binghamton University.
Farmingdale State's computer programming and information systems department is part of the College's School of Business, which enrolls more than 1,900 students. The department offers a Bachelor of Science as well as certificate programs in Computer Information Systems. In addition, the department offers Networking Training Certification as specified by the CISCO Networking Academy.
