Annemarie Rosciano Joins Farmingdale State
Nursing Department Welcomes New Assistant Professor
Annemarie Rosciano, MPA, MSN, ANP-C, has joined the College as an assistant professor in the nursing department. Her expertise is in adult health.
An advanced nurse practitioner, Rosciano received her Master of Science in nursing from Adelphi University in 2001. Since earning this degree and becoming board certified in adult health, Rosciano served as an adult nurse practitioner at local hospitals and a private primary care practice. Rosciano also served in the CNS Critical Care Education Department at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
A resident of Commack, Rosciano received a Masters in public/healthcare administration from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus. She also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from Adelphi University, and an Associate Degree in nursing from Farmingdale State College.
Established in the 1960’s, Farmingdale State’s nursing school enrolls more than 350 students. The school offers a Bachelor of Science Nursing program, an Associate in Science Nursing program and a Practical Nursing program. In addition, the school offers an advanced accelerated program for LPNs to become RNs.
