Farmingdale State College to Host SUNY College Night

Opportunity for Students and Parents to Choose the Right SUNY

Farmingdale State College will host SUNY  College  Night on Tuesday, September 9 from
6:30 - 9:00 p.m. in Nold and Roosevelt Halls.

SUNY Night provides a convenient, local opportunity for high school students and their parents to talk with representatives from Long Island and upstate SUNY campuses.  More and more families are realizing the exceptional educational value SUNY offers.

From 6:30-9:00 p.m., admissions counselor s from  more than 30  SUNY campuses will answer questions and provide information in Nold Hall.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., two relevant  presentations  will be offered:

7:00-7:45 p.m. -  Presentation  Session 1

  • Which SUNY Are You? ( Roosevelt Hall Little Theater)
    Kitty McCarthy, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Marketing, SUNY

  • Explore Honors and Scholarship Opportunities (Roosevelt Hall Multi-Purpose Room A)
    Mary Marquez Bell, Vice President for Enrollment Services, College at Old Westbury
    Kate Rowe, Exec. Dir. of Admissions and Enrollment Mgmt., Suffolk Community College

8:00-8:45 p.m. -  Presentation  Session 2
