Eileen Hasson Appointed Director of Alumni Affairs at Farmingdale State College
Dr. W. Hubert Keen, president of Farmingdale State College, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eileen Hasson as Director of Alumni Affairs. Ms. Hasson will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the overall alumni program, serving as liaison between the College and Farmingdale State College's 80,000 alumni.
In making the announcement, Dr. Keen said, "Eileen Hasson has had a very successful career in education, college-level administration and instruction, and executive-level fundraising. Her enthusiastic approach will build relationships with and enhance the College's outreach to its alumni."
Ms. Hasson, a Sayville resident, has experience in both education and in fund raising. Prior to joining Farmingdale State, Ms. Hasson, an educator who has taught on both the elementary and college level, served as Center Director of the Huntington Learning Center in Bay Shore . She was also the Director of Alumni Relations at an area college. In addition, she was Director of Development of the Star Foundation in East Hampton and at United Way of Long Island in Commack. Ms. Hasson earned both her MBA and BBA at Dowling College. She might be recognized for her appearance on the hit show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, where she won $25,000.
