In celebration of the Italian Heritage & Culture Month and The International Education Week, Farmingdale State College invites everyone to attend a lecture entitled, "The Global Revolution", by Professor Dominick Salvatore on October 16, 2008, at 12:30 in Roosevelt Hall at The Little Theater.

Dominick Salvatore is a distinguished Professor of Economics at Fordham University in New York as well as an Honorary Professor at Shanghai Finance University and Hunan University. His research interests include: International economics; Microeconomic theory; Managerial economics; Development economics; Econometrics; Euro and European Union; International monetary system; Financial crises; New economy and growth; Globalization and international competitiveness; Globalization, growth and poverty; Trade and development; Structural imbalances and world economic stability.
