New Director of Enrollment Services at Farmingdale State
New Offices to Assist Transfer Students
Dr. Lucia Cepriano, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, is pleased to announce that Judi Cestaro has been promoted to Director of the newly created office of Auxiliary Enrollment Services.In this capacity, Cestaro will coordinate procedures that affect students applying for admission from other colleges as well as curriculum changes and readmission applications. She will continue to be responsible for the highly successful high school outreach program as well as ongoing community relations projects that she now oversees.
Cestaro has been part of an enrollment management team that helped to increase applications to Farmingdale State College by 25 percent over the past five years. "I'm very excited about being on the ground floor of the creation of this office. Our students deserve a smooth transition as they transfer from other colleges or change their majors and I will work hard to ensure that they have that," said Cestaro.
Cestaro earned an AA at Farmingdale State College, a BA at Adelphi University and an MA at Hofstra University . She is a fitness enthusiast who has competed in local races and at Disney World. Cestaro resides in Bayport with her husband Randy and daughter Katie.
