Motivational Speaker Bobby Petrocelli to Inspire Over 2,000 LI Middle School Students at Farmingdale State
Bobby Petrocelli knows how life can change in 10 seconds. One night Petrocelli went to bed a happily married man, living in Suburbia, and woke up in his kitchen (not where he had gone to sleep) and his wife was dead. A pick-up truck, driven by a driver whose blood alcohol levels were more than twice legally drunk, had crashed through his bedroom wall, killing his wife and changing his life forever.
Petrocelli's story is one of personal triumph and hope following a devastating tragedy in his life. He will share his message of faith and love to over 2,000 students representing over fifty area middle schools at the 2007 Kids in Action Youth Conference. Students from Garden City, Jericho and North Shore will be attending for the first time this year.
When: Friday, November 30, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to noon
Where: Nold Hall at Farmingdale State College
Author of several books, including 10 Seconds Will Change Your Life Forever, Petrocelli, who now lives in Florida , is a motivational speaker who shares with youth the power of every decision and how to build a strong foundation for their lives. He is also known for his earlier book, Triumph Over Tragedy.
The students will be welcomed to the college by Dr. W. Hubert Keen , president of Farmingdale State College.
