If Farmingdale State College has played any part in your life, come to Adventureland in September to meet other members of the Farmingdale State College community which includes over 80,000 alumni.
As part of its reinvigoration of the College's outreach to alumni, Farmingdale State College invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and family to the first Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Adventureland, located across from the campus at 2245 Route 110, Farmingdale, NY. Family Fun Day for Farmingdale State College takes place from noon - 6:00 p.m.
Guests will enjoy the opportunity to go on all the rides, play mini-golf, have fun in the arcade, win raffle prizes and visit with old and new friends. Every age group will find something fun to do. Adventureland features more than 20 rides for people of all ages but especially for the kids, including the Hurricane Coaster, Pirate Ship, Silvers Twister, Frisbee, Music Express, Bumper Cars, a Ferris Wheel and the Haunted House. This has been a destination of choice for families since 1962.
In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is set for Sunday, September 23. Advance purchase tickets are $20 (per person) and $25 at the gate. For more information and special pricing for students, contact Eileen Hasson, Director of Alumni Affairs, at 631-420-2369, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
