Blood Drive at Farmingdale State College
Farmingdale State College and Long Island Blood Services is sponsoring its second community blood drive of the year on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM on the Farmingdale campus in Roosevelt Hall, Multi-Purpose Room. The first blood drive held on October 31, 2006 resulted in a record-breaking 130 donations. Join us and help save lives!!!
Long Island hospitals require almost 800 pints of blood per day. With a single donation, a person can help up to four people. One in three people will need blood sometime during his/her lifetime.
Donors must be 16-75, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in general good health. At the time of donation, donors must have either photo or signed identification and know their social security number.
